Kajabi's Native Coaching Product

Kajabi includes a dedicated coaching product type that goes beyond simply hosting a course. It's designed specifically for the structure of a coaching engagement: defined sessions, progress tracking, client notes, and a shared workspace between coach and client. For coaches who want to manage their client work and their broader business in the same platform, it removes the need for separate coaching management software.

Setting Up a Coaching Product

To create a coaching product in Kajabi, navigate to Products and select the Coaching template. You'll configure the number of sessions included in the package, whether the package has a defined duration, and what materials or resources accompany the sessions. Each coaching package becomes a product that can be sold directly through a Kajabi offer with its own checkout page.

The Client-Facing Coaching Experience

Once a client purchases a coaching package, they access a dedicated coaching portal within your Kajabi environment. In this portal they can:

  • View upcoming and completed sessions
  • Access session notes and resources you've shared
  • Track their progress through the package
  • Communicate with you through the coaching workspace

The client doesn't need a separate tool to engage with their coaching experience. Everything lives in the same environment where they might also be accessing a course or membership you've provided.

Session Scheduling

Kajabi integrates with Calendly for session scheduling, allowing clients to book sessions directly through the coaching portal. Once a session is completed, you can mark it done, add notes, and share resources with the client through the same interface. The session history creates a running record of the client's coaching journey.

Selling Coaching Packages

Coaching packages are sold through Kajabi's standard offer and checkout system. You can create one-time purchase offers for fixed-session packages or recurring subscription offers for ongoing coaching retainers. A coaching offer can be connected to a Kajabi pipeline so the entire sales process, from discovery call booking through purchase confirmation and onboarding, flows through your Kajabi infrastructure.

Combining Coaching With Other Products

One of the most practical benefits of managing coaching in Kajabi is the ability to bundle it with other products. A course buyer can be upsold into a coaching package. A coaching client can be granted access to a supporting course. A membership can include a monthly group coaching call. These product combinations are straightforward to manage in Kajabi because all the product types live in the same system.
