The Direct Marketing Project Manager responsibilities will be to manage and execute projects related to marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for turning the strategist’s vision into project plans and executing those plans with the marketing team as Project Manager.

They will be responsible for turning the strategist’s vision into project plans and executing those plans with the marketing team as Project Manager. The Direct Marketing Project Manager will need to identify all the tasks that need to be completed within a marketing campaign, and then strategically delegate those tasks to the appropriate team members.

The role of Marketing Project Manager is an in-office position. They will work in-house within the marketing department.

What You'll Be Doing

  • While the Marketing or Media Director comes up with the strategic vision of a campaign, it is the Marketing Project Manager’s responsibility to map out the tasks required to implement that vision.
  • Marketing Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with all departments throughout the campaign creation process.
  • Responsible for creating the project timeline, and then ensuring everyone keeps to this timeline.

Requirements

  • Prioritization Skills: The Direct Marketing Project Manager will both organize the tasks related to a campaign and decide which tasks are most important based on the size, scope and timeliness of each task. This requires good prioritization skills to arrange tasks in the most efficient manner.
  • Decision Making Skills: Organizing and prioritizing all of the tasks related to a campaign requires the ability to make quick decisions. The Direct Marketing Project Manager will call upon their decision making skills when figuring out which employee is best suited for which task.
  • Analytical Skills: The Direct Marketing Project Manager position will require analytical skills when creating the schedule and project for a marketing campaign. They will need to understand direct marketing performance metrics and how to measure success of any campaign.
  • Project Management Skills: The Marketing Project Manager must have project management skills. This means understanding theories of project management, as well as understanding how to put those theories into action. This skill set is used in virtually everything Marketing Project Managers do.

Educational opportunities will be offered for the Member Services Specialist at the discretion of the Member Services, and could include participating in a mentorship program, training to further specific career goals, books or digital content to supplement education, and attendance at conferences areas of interest and impact for Kajabi’s overall goals and Member Services Specialist’s desired career goals.

One-On-One Process

Member Services Specialist will meet Regularly with the Member Services Manager to catch up and discuss their role. The goal of these meetings is to identify areas where Member Services Specialist can improve, what areas they’re needing more guidance on, and where the Kajabi leadership team can lend time or resources to help meet career goals. It’s also a time to discuss specific expectations and discuss any areas of concern you may have about your job or your team.
