What to do when you first start Kajabi
The very first thing we recommend you do when you start Kajabi is to dive into your Settings.
First of all, make sure you can get paid for your digital products. Kajabi includes a payment gateway that makes it simple to accept credit cards, debit cards and PayPal but you do have to link your PayPal and Stripe accounts. You’ll find this under Settings -> Payment Integrations.
If you don’t have a PayPal or Stripe account, you’ll need to sign up for one. Kajabi offers a ton of easy-to-follow instructions on how to sign up for these accounts and how to connect them to Kajabi.
Once you have your payments handled, you should set up your domain and your email settings. If you have your own custom domain name for your website, go through the custom domain setup process in Settings. If you don’t have your own custom domain name, Kajabi gives you a subdomain to use under “.mykajabi.com”
Next, you should fill out your Marketing Settings. If you want to send out emails to promote your business, and you really should, you’ll need to put in your physical business street address to comply with anti-spam laws.
This section also gives you the ability to add your company logo to your emails, as well as set up your default email settings like what business name do your emails come from.
Finally, go into the settings and fill out your site details. You can add your logo, branding, specific colors and apply that site-wide so you never have to worry about that with each new page you add.
Creating a digital product with Kajabi
Now that you’ve gotten a solid start with your account settings, let’s talk about Kajabi’s world-class digital product creator. Kajabi has the best and easiest way to turn your knowledge into an amazing digital product you can sell.
